Dell Rapids, S.D. – The American Principles Project (APP), the nation’s premier pro-family advocacy organization, has announced its endorsement of Speaker of the House Jon Hansen for Governor of South Dakota.
“South Dakotans deserve a governor who will stand firm against the cultural left and put parents and kids first. Jon Hansen is that leader,” said APP President Terry Schilling. “Jon Hansen is leading the fight to protect South Dakota families and has always been a champion for President Trump’s America First principles. Hansen fought the left’s anti-family agenda when other Republicans cowered. Jon Hansen will ensure that South Dakota is one of the best places in America to raise a family.”
Hansen signed APP’s pro-family pledge and has sponsored key legislation to protect children, including measures to ban chemical and surgical gender transition procedures for minors in 2023. APP is investing significantly in advertising through the final week of the four-way primary campaign to support Hansen’s campaign and amplify his record on parental rights, life, and protecting children from irreversible harm.
